Manipal University (MU) conducts MU OET every year which is an online entrance examination for Admission in undergraduate B. Tech engineering programs at 3 institutes which are Manipal University (Jaipur, Rajasthan), Manipal Institute of Technology (Manipal, Karnataka) and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (Sikkim, India). The online entrance test will be held over a period of month from April 24 to May 17, 2017. The candidates seek admission will have to fill the application form till March 11, 2017. The candidates should make sure that they are eligible to apply for admission in any of the 3 universities mention above. The candidates can fill the application form for admission only through online mode on the official website of Manipal University. Manipal University has been started in the year 1056 and now the university is growing faster as it has spread its new branches in Sikkim, Jaipur, Malaysia, Dubai, Antigua, and Mangalore etc.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for admission in one of the MU associated colleges.
- The candidates must have passed in class 12 or equivalent examination with Maths, Physics and English as the main subjects.
- The candidates should have done their qualified examination with minimum 50% marks.
- The candidates applying for MU online entrance test (MU OET) should also have studied one of the subjects Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology.
Admit Card
The candidates applying for online entrance test have to book a slot because without booking a slot the candidates will not be issued their online entrance test admit card. The admit card contains the following details:
- Name of the candidates
- Examination venue
- Exam date
- Slot and more
Application Process
MU OET Application form will be submitted only through online mode and the application form is available online on the official website of Manipal University. The last date to fill the application form is March 11, 2017. To fill the application form the candidates have to provide their personal details such as name, date of birth, name of father, name of mother etc. and educational details such as class 10 & 12 marks, other qualification (If have) and contact details like phone number, valid email id, address of the candidates selection of the B.Tech programmes. Now the candidates have to make payment of Rs 600 as application fee &Rs 1,400 as the entrance exam fee and the application form has to be submitted online on the official website of MU.
