Jaguar F-Pace 2017 has finally taken the car world by storm. The first SUV is supposed to catch your fancy. Launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 as the C-X17, it has been refined by the British auto manufacturer as the “Ultimate practical sports car’ and is built by new aluminum architecture.
At first glance, the F-pace seems to have all features and the typical Jaguar hallmarks like sweptback headlamps and mesh grille with feline fascia. However, the newest models come standard with few more features such as bulges on the hood and chrome elements under the fog lamp slots. It has got a five-seat layout underpinned by a handcrafted 650-litre boot featuring special underfloor trays for extra storage space for a full-size spare wheel.
While the C-X17 was unveiled with a 5.0-litre supercharged V8, this wonderful model is powered by the Ingenium family of engines boasting two petrol units and two diesel engines.
The former is underpinned by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit that generates 237bhp while a 3.0-litre V6 unit puts forth 377bhp. The diesel engine is powered by 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit that generates 177bhp while 3.0-litre V6 mill generates 337bhp. All models are being offered with AWD except for the entry-level 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol.
The F-Pace is kicking the road, opening up a new avenue for the British automaker in terms of market value. It is expected that the SUV will make its presence in the local market of the sub-continent.
